Status Update was designed to accompany the exhibition of the same name held at Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery​ in 2017. 

I worked closely with Lilo and the books' contributors to carefully showcase the artist's career to date and reproduce her works in the best light possible.

 

This hardcover publication has a screen-printed buckram-bound cover and features a custom hand-cut vinyl font created by the artist. It also features over 250 of Janet Lilo's colour photographs and multiple hand-drawings by the artist. The publication's endpapers feature images from the artists' 1000 Grams project.
